Login to the Google account that you used to purchase your Google Play Developer account and then visit https://play.google.com/console/developers
Click on the name of the developer account to proceed.
Click on the "Create app" button from the "All apps" screen.
Enter below details for your app under the App details section.

App name: Enter name for your app that will appear in Google Play Store

Default language: Choose a language of your choice

App or game: Choose "App"
-
Free or Paid: Choose "Free" to allows users to download app for free.
Tick all 3 checkboxes to agree to required declarations. You can click on the links provided for each declaration to learn more about these declarations.
Click on "Create app" button located at the bottom right corner of the screen. Once the app is created, you will see below screen.
Scroll to the "Set up your app" section on the Dashboard and click on "View tasks"
A list of tasks will be shown that need to be completed to publish the app. We will cover each task one by one.
App access
Click on "App access" from the list of tasks.
Click on the "All or some functionality is restricted" and then click on "Add new instructions" button.
You will see the "Add new instructions" form. You need to provide a demo username and password that Google can use to check the app for approval.
Create a new user for your academy by signing-up from your website using "google-play-demo@teachmore.in" as the email. Use a password of your choice. We recommend generating a strong password.
Please fill below values in the form.

Once you have entered all the details, please click on the "Apply" button located on the bottom right corner.
Instructions you added will now appear on the "App access" screen. Click on the "Save" button located on the bottom right corner. Once the changes are saved, click on the "← Dashboard" link with the back arrow above the "App access" header.
"App access" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
Ads
Now click on the Ads task from the list.
On this screen, you need to declare if your app will show ads or not.
Let's say you aren't going to show any ads, choose "No, my app does not contain ads" and then click on "Save". Once the changes are saved, click on the "← Dashboard" link with the back arrow above the "Ads" header.
"Ads" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
Content rating
Click on "Content rating" from the list of tasks.
You need to complete a questionnaire to add Content ratings for your app. Click on the "Start questionnaire" button to begin.
You need to enter your email address and choose a category for your app.
Once you enter your email address and choose a Category, click on the "Next" button located on the bottom right corner.
On the next screen you need to answer questions related to the Category we selected on the previous screen - "Reference, News, or Educational".
For most educational apps "No" is the appropriate option to choose for "Violence", "Sexuality", "Language" and "Controlled substances". Feel free to choose "Yes" if it applies to your app, so that Google can apply correct rating for your app on Play Store.
Scroll down to answer questions under and "Miscellaneous". Enter below answers for the questions.

Click on the "Save" button. Once the changs are saved, "Next" button will activate. Click on Next button to proceed.
Google will show you a Summary of ratings that will apply to your app. Confirm the details that appear on this screen. If you think any of the ratings shown are incorrect, you can go back using the "Back" button to update the questionnaire.
Once you are satisfied with the rating summary of your app, click on the "Submit" button located at the bottom right corner. Your ratings will be shown on the "Content ratings" screen. Click on the "← Dashboard" link with the back arrow above the "Content ratings" header.
"Content rating" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
Target audience
Click on "Target audience" from the list of tasks.
You need to set the "Target age group" for your app. Google will use this to help your users discover your app.
For apps that are not specifically targeted to kids, you can choose all 13 and above age groups. Once you have selected relevant age groups, click on the Next button.
If you are targeting children under 13, you need to follow a few extra steps. Please contact us so we can help you. Below steps are for apps targeting age groups 13 and above.
Since you are not specifically targeting children, choose "No" for the question "
Could your store listing unintentionally appeal to children?". Please make sure that your play store description and images don't unintentionally appeal to children.
Click on Next to proceed. Confirm the details on the screen and click on the "Save" button located at bottom right corner.
Click on the "← Dashboard" link with the back arrow above the "Target audience and content" header.
"Target audience and content" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
News apps
Click on "News apps" from the list of tasks.
Choose "No" for the question "Is your app a news app?". Then click on "Save".
Click on the "← Dashboard" link with the back arrow above the "News apps" header.
"News apps" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
COVID-19 contact tracing and status apps
Click on "COVID-19 contact tracing and status apps" from the list of tasks.
Choose "My app is not a publicly available COVID-19 contact tracing or status app" option and click on Save.
Click on the "← Dashboard" link with the back arrow above the "COVID-19 contact tracing and status apps" header.
"COVID-19 contact tracing and status apps" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
Privacy policy
Scroll to the bottom of the left menu and choose "App content" under "Policy". Then click on the Start button under "Privacy policy".
You need to add the privacy policy url for your website. Your website powered by Teachmore has the privacy policy url as: https://www.myacademy.com/privacy-policy
Click on save after entering the url. Once the details have saved, click on the Dashboard from the left menu.
Select an app category and provide contact details
Click on "Select an app category and provide contact details" from the list of tasks.

Choose "App" and "Education" from the dropdown.
Click on "Manage tags" button to assign tags. Choose relevant tags and click on "Apply" button located at the bottom right corner.
Selected tags will show up on the "Store settings" screen.
Scroll down to "Store listing contact details" section.
Store listing contact details
Add the Email address, Phone number and Website to be shown to users on Google Play when they visit the app.
External marketing
Also, tick the External marketing section to allow Google to advertise the app outside of Google Play. Click on "Save" button located at the bottom right corner to proceed. Once the changes are saved, click on the Dashboard option from the left menu.
"Select an app category and provide contact details" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
Set up your store listing
Click on "Set up your store listing" from the list of tasks.
You will be taken to the "Main store listing" screen. This screen allows you to manage information displayed for your app on Google Play Store.

Graphics
App icon
Upload 512x512 px image to be used as an app icon. Click on the Upload button to choose an image.
Feature graphic
Upload 1024x500 px image to be used as a banner when Google shows your app. Click on the Upload button to choose an image.
Video
Add a Youtube video url to be used as promo video for your app. This video is optional but highly recommended for prompting new users to install the app.
Phone
Add at-least 2 phone screenshots.
Tablet
Tablet screenshots are optional. Add them if you have access to 7-inch and 10-inch tablets.
Click on Save to proceed. Once the changes are saved, click on the Dashboard option from the left menu.
Now "Setup your app" section will no longer be visible on the Dashboard since you have completed all the required tasks.
Publish your app on Google Play
You can now scroll down to the "Publish your app on Google Play" section and click on the "View tasks" button.
Select countries and regions
Click on the "Select countries and regions" from the list of tasks.
This screen allows you to choose countries/regions where your app will be available for users to install. Click on the "Add countries / regions" button.
Choose all relevant countries.
Once you have selected required countries, click on the "Add countries / regions" button located at the bottom right corner.
Click on "Add" button in the confirmation box.
Countries have been selected and selected countries will be shown on the "Countries / regions" screen. Click on the Dashboard option from the left menu.
"Select countries and regions" should now be marked as completed on the Dashboard.
Create a new release
Click on the "Create a new release" from the list of tasks.
You need to create a new release by clicking on the "Create new release" button.
Upload the AAB file you downloaded from Teachmore.
Wait for the upload to complete. This might take a few minutes to complete.
Once the file is uploaded, you will see App bundle with version details.
Scroll down to Release details to continue
Add "First release" as the release note between the <en-US> and </en-US> tags. Click on Save.
Then click on "Review release"
You might get below error if you haven't completed the Privacy policy step listed above in the guide. Please go and complete that. Once you do that the error will go away and the "Start rollout to Production" button will be enabled.
Click on "Start rollout to Production" button to submit the app for approval.
Click on Rollout in the confirmation box. Once the app is submitted for Google's approval, you will see the below screen with "In review" status under Release summary.
Your app has been submitted to Google for approval. You will get an email from Google once your app is approved and live for users to install.
