This article goes over how to enable and use ConvertKit Integration for your academy

ConvertKit is a powerful tool for you to connect with your audience with an email list. Using ConvertKit you can send out emails to users who sign up on your academy, or those who enroll in a course or collection

Enable ConvertKit Integration on Teachmore dashboard

Go to Settings → Advanced → Integrations on your Teachmore dashboard

Under Integrations select ConvertKit

Now add API Key and API Secret

API Key and API Secret can be found on your ConvertKit dashboard under Settings → Advanced

Paste API Key and API Secret on your Teachmore dashboard and click update

Now Enable the ConvertKit Integration

Now let's take a look at how you can create tags on ConvertKit.

Create and manage tags

Go to Grow → Subscribers on your ConvertKit dashboard

Here you will see your existing tags

Here you can create a tag

You can name the tag based on how you want to tag certain users. For example, here we are naming it Sign up so we can use it to tag the users who sign up

Configure Signup tags

Go to Settings → Integrations → ConvertKit

Here you will see an option "Signup tags". Click configure next to signup tags

You'll see a list of all tags you created on ConvertKit. Now you can select which of these tags should apply to users who sign up on your website or app. For example, here our sign up tag is called "Sign up" (You can call it anything you like)

Now when a new user signs up

They are tagged under Sign up tag

Now let's create a broadcast for the sign up tag

Click new broadcast

Write the subject line and content of your email

Select Add filter → Subscribed to → tags → (your desired tag)

Once that is done, please ensure to click "Add filter"

Manage Enrollment integrations for a course or collection

You can also reach out to users of a particular course or collection with ConvertKit

Create a tag which helps you identify the course for which you are creating it

Scroll down to ConvertKit under the 'details' tab of any course on your dashboard

You'll see a list of all tags you created on ConvertKit. Now you can select which of these tags should apply to users who enroll in this particular course

Create a broadcast on ConvertKit

Write the subject line and content of your email

Select Add filter → Subscribed to → tags → (your desired tag)

Once that is done, please ensure to click "Add filter"
