Let's explore how you can set up and enable affiliate program for your academy from your Teachmore dashboard

How to enable affiliate program for your academy

First head over to Marketing → Affiliates on your Teachmore dashboard

Click get started now

Let's understand the connection between the type of commission, commission rate and commission validity

Here you can set the following

Commission rate in percentage - This percentage determines what percentage of a sale goes to your affiliates, for example:

Sales commission rate = 20%
Course price = INR 100,

Then commission earned = INR 20

Sales commission in flat rate - Flat rate means to simply write what the commission amount would be, for example:

Flat rate = USD 10

Commission earned = USD 10

Commission validity

Set a commission validity in terms of number of days. For example here it is 15 days. That means the affiliate will get the commission if the sale happens within 15 days

To change the commission rate or commission validity of sales or sign up commissions, click the edit button next to it

After enabling the desired commission settings, it's time to make users affiliates

Make a user an affiliate

Go to users → user profile → affiliate and click the Make affiliate button

Choose payout country

To disable the 'affiliate' status of a user, simply click the disable option in their profile anytime

Affiliate link

This link can be shared anywhere, for example on social media and once users sign up/enroll in a course using this link:

They will see the "Affiliate dashboard" in the dropdown of their profile

Record payout

Once users sign up/enroll in a course through the affiliate link, sign ups, orders, commissions, payouts can be viewed under Marketing → Affiliates

Once you set up the affiliates you can view different details related to Affiliates. This includes the following:

Overview
A summary of revenue, new users orders and commissions

Partners

Details of affiliates and their commission

Sign ups

Orders

Commissions

Payouts

Settings
