With assessments you can add questions in different ways! Type them in, upload them or enable question bank!
Creating assessments
Go to the course manager of the course you wish to add the assessment to, and select Add new item → Assessments
It's now time to add questions. Select how you wish to add your questions. Let's explore each of these types in detail
Type your Question
Select from a wide variety of question types based on your requirement!
Format your questions and options!
Open up the formatting toolbar by clicking the Add formatting button
You can apply the following formatting to your questions as well as options:
Bold, Italics, Colored text
Add images to questions and options
Add formulas to your questions!
To add a formula, click the formula button
Type your formula and click Add formula
This way you can include the formula in your question

Types of Questions
MCQ
The good old MCQ! Add a question with two or more options!
Subjective questions
Great for when you wish to ask open ended or essay type questions
Fill in the blanks
Check your students' knowledge with a quick fill in the blank!
Number
Ask questions that can only be answered with numbers
Multiple Select
Questions that can have multiple right answers
True or False
Questions that students can mark as true or false
Assertion & Reasoning
Add Assertion & Reasoning questions and select from answers designed similar to competitive exams
Click the Proceed button once you have added all questions
Here you will see a test preview, and the option to edit marks for each question
When you're ready with all the questions, click proceed
This will take you to the Quiz details where you can add different details such as the Test name, instructions, duration and schedule (date and time)
You can also choose when to publish the result and whether you wish to shuffle the questions
Great! It's time to publish the test!
Now you can view/edit the test
Awesome! Now users can attempt the test
Upload questions
Upload an image or PDF and add questions
Let's upload an image
Preview and upload
Do this for all questions and proceed
Add Test details and publish test
Now your users can attempt the test!
Similarly for the upload questions type, you can add a PDF
Enable Question Bank
Select from Question Bank courses
Select class, subject and topic(s)
Set a question count and select test difficulty
