Add your custom domain to Teachmore
Login to your academy admin dashboard then go to Settings → Domains
Click New domain button
Select Custom domain type
Enter your domain name (www.example.com) and click Done
Mark your domain as primary by clicking Make Primary button
Add a CNAME record on GoDaddy
Go to DNS manager on GoDaddy
Add the CNAME record with Host www and Points to sites.teachmore.com. If CNAME record already exists with Host www, then edit it to point to sites.teachmore.com.
After you've created your CNAME, email us at help@teachmore.com or live chat and include a screenshot of your DNS settings within your registrar/hosting company.
This will allow us to verify if everything is in place
The custom domain name is usually ready within 24-48 hours
Setup NakedSSL to redirect non-www requests to www
Redirect non-www requests (example.com) to your domain with www (www.example.com).
Create an account on NakedSSL (https://www.nakedssl.com/)
Go to https://www.nakedssl.com, then click on the Get it now button and then register yourself
Enter academy owner name and email here to create account.
After registering the account, confirm the account through the link in the email sent by NakedSSL. Please contact app owner for this through Whatsapp group or call
After email account confirmation, click Add domain button in the below screen
Enter your domain name without www and with www as shown below and click Next button
Choose the region and click Next button
Select no-cache option and click Next
Copy the provided IP address
Go to GoDaddy to edit A record with Host @ to pointing to IP address provided by NakedSSL
Now click DNS updated on your NakedSSL dashboard
Click Check DNS now button
NakedSSL might take few minutes to process.
Once NakedSSL completed the process, then you should see the status of your SSL redirection as active. You might need to refresh the page to see updated status.
