Go to console.firebase.google.com
Select Dynamic Links and click on Get started
Add URL prefix
Add the domain of your website over here. For example, online.myacademy.com
Select Google provided domain
Click on New Dynamic Link
When the link is first created, it would have random text as part of it
You can erase that and give a custom name, that is optional
It's now time to set up the dynamic link. Name the link. The link's name is for your reference as it helps you understand which link to track.
Define link behavior for Apple
If you don't have an iOS app you can select Open the deep link URL in a browser and click next
Alternatively if you have an iOS app, select Open the deep link in your Apple App and select your app from the dropdown list
Similarly, define link behavior for Android
If you have an Android app, select your app from the dropdown list
Also define where you would like to redirect the user in case they have not installed the Android app. In this case, you can redirect them to Google Play page for your app
Or you can add a custom URL
In step 5 you can add social meta tags, however that is optional
Once all these steps are done, click create to create your dynamic link
That's it! Now copy the URL and share with your users. The link will redirect them based on settings you have selected while creating it
Click the link to see the different stats such as clicks, redirects and more
Edit the link, view its details or archive it anytime
You can also Delete URL prefix which would delete all dynamic links associated with it
